Like most beaches on this side of the world, Takayo Beach is very sandy. Perfect sun bathing and getting a nice tan. Unfortunately the sand is hardly ever hot. How would this be a bad thing? Well, think about it. It means the water is almost always freezing cold, good only for sailing and fishing. Or for those who have no feeling in their bodies, they don't seem to mind the cold either.
